....December Countdown Book Yet!
The theme over on the Woodware blog this week has been So you haven't made your Christmas Cards Yet... which doesn't quite work on a scrapbook page! But scrappers like to document the days in a Christmas Countdown and if you are like me, leave it till the last minute to make the wee book you need. And behold, the December Daily Countdown book was born!
Quick and easy and with little pockets lifted from an idea on the Woodware blog earlier this year.
If you are anywhere near Langley Park, we have made some little kits which are available at the Creative Space DH79TT so you can create this wee wonder ;) But to be honest, it is so easy, get your Christmas stash out and I am sure you will have something that will fit the bill. Every page is created in the same way to make it nice and easy.
Each page is 6"x6" and scored at about 1". The pages are then glued together at the spine, cropadiled and laced with organza ribbon, just for decoration. The photo mount is 5 1/2"x4" and the little pocket was created using a massive Woodware pocket punch. The little glitter domes nicely set off the numbers (which have been cut from a piece of Craftwork Cards Christmas paper). And that is that! Get creative on the front cover...
I used the December 25th Woodware Clear Magic Single Stamp, which is one of my favourites, and highlighted some of the spare numbers with glossy accents. Winding a little black and white twine around the numbers makes them 'pop'. Easy and quick to make and perfect for my Dressember photos! Happy scrapping, jenx
