Sunday Scrapping on a Woodware Theme... Christmas Decoration

Sunday Scrapping on a Woodware Theme... Christmas Decoration
The theme over on the Woodware blog has been Christmas Decorations and there are some amazing projects over there for you to peruse right here The photograph in this scrapbook layout shows DS2 reading the card he wrote for Father Christmas in 2010. The photo is very muted so I figured subdued papers were required. I used the Holly Branch and Bird stamp to capture the decoration theme and pick out the Christmas tree peeping through in the photograph. The long thin Holly stamp creates a wonderful border and the stamp i used for the December 25th title is perfect for this page. The Poinsettia corner makes a lovely embellishment for a photograph. Woodware ribbon and brads completes the layout. I used Stampendous Fine Detail embossing powder, Watermark embossing pad from Clearsnap and Mixed Media Inks in Leather and Truffle swept over the edges added to the aged look.
Up close for the detail....

Make sure you pop over to the Woodware blog to check out what the designers have been up to and happy scrapping, jenx
