Sunday Scrapping on a Woodware Theme... Masking

12x12 Scrapbook Layout using inks, sprays and pastes with masking techiques.

The challenge over on the Woodware blog this week has been Masking. This page was built up in layers using masking techniques, from a simple white piece of 12x12 card. So here are the steps..
Mask over the partial diamonds on the Dreamweaver stencil with washi so that you can repeat the pattern over the 12x12. Mask over the rest of the page, then spray.

Pop a rectangle in the place you expect your photograph to sit to create a space for it in white.
Use the Dreamweaver stencil and black matte paste to create the 'tree' sprays. Pop the photo space rectangle back in place and spray in green, yellow and orange to add depth. Use the rectangle mask, which is now splattered in spray, for your journal word spots and your die cut title.
Happy scrapping, jenx
