National Scrapbook Day NSD2014 With Wear Crafts - Layered Layouts With Scrappyjen

National Scrapbook Day NSD2014 With Wear Crafts - Layered Layouts With Scrappyjen

I am a girl of two halves and many layers.... (well actually many more than two halves, but let's just focus on two).
There is the organised, professional, in control side - represented here.
The cluster of journaling cards is very me - I always have too many things on the go but I am pretty good at multi tasking... and there has to be a little floral somewhere. I like to show different options as we all have different tastes and colour preferences, so here is the journaling card cluster mounted on the reverse of the dark paper you can see above.
Totally changes the look. Not a distressed edge, inked part or bit of fussy cutting in sight.

Then there is the girly, flowery, pink, sparkly, blousy, Gary Barlow infatuated (American friends, google him - you will fall in love, but he is mine), fluffy side - represented here.
My roots are decoupage, as you can see from the scrunched flowers. I adore fussy cutting - it should be available on the NHS as it is the best therapy there is. And I am getting into this pasty stuff too.

So, these are the bare basic layouts.... pop back on Monday to see them finished. That should give you plenty of time. So,how many sides do you have? Can you represent all your layers in a layout? Over to you... make a layout of many layers and make sure you share!

And if you fancy a canny kit... here it is

So what's in it for you?

Send me your project photos right up until May 11th and you could win some Wear Crafts stash which you choose yourself! Everyone say oooooo!

We are awarding £20 to the person who really throws themselves into the event. You have to upload to our Wear Crafts Facebook page and get your project photos to me any way you can, tag everything #wearcrafts #NSD2014 #scrapbooking, especially if you upload to the Insta event or Twitter, and take part in as many of the projects as possible. We are really looking for someone who completes all of the projects and shares with us. Virginia and Lesley are going to judge! Teeny conditions: Albums and protectors are not included and we would like you to cover the postage costs as we have opened the event worldwide. Hope you understand that one.

We are awarding £10 for one single stunning amazing capture the spirit of NSD2014 project. It has to be based on one of our online projects, please! Same teeny conditions as above and Virginia and Lesley are judging.

Our regular Wear Crafts croppers are also in with a chance to win a really nice paper pack, so make sure you upload and share too and make it clear that you are a cropper! Same teeny conditions as above... Virginia and Lesley are judging.

And if you are inspired by any of our projects and fancy the stash for yourself, I am updating this department here as we progress through the day!

So, what are you waiting for? Get on with it.... ready, steady, SCRAP!!!!
