End of Summer UKS Blog Hop

Welcome to my post for the End Of Summer UKS Blog Hop. Been playing with inks and sprays and the theme of layers and this is the result. Hmmm, maybe not perfect, but I quite like it. If you look closely, you can see the ink is still wet! You can probably work out how I built up the layers: placed the butterflies - sprayed; moved the butterflies to let them dry; placed the doily - sprayed; moved the doily; stamped the iris images in the corner; tied the hemp; glued the butterflies and the doily; sprayed the letters then glued them on. The photos of my boys are particularly special as they have both begun the final academic year of the phase they are in. DS1 is in Year 11 and DS2 is in Year 6. I love butterflies and what they represent for me and I do not care one jot if folk think male layouts should not have them!!! The quote is a really important personal one for me and it also is my wish for these two lovely little monsters at this important time in their lives. Happy scrapping, jenx
