UK Scrappers Spring Blog Hop - A Thing Of Beauty...

Welcome to the UKS Spring BlogHop! You may have come to me from Mary Anne.
If you lose your way, or have dropped in on me directly and want to follow the hop, you can see the full list with all the links here
Hop on to YORKSHIRE LASS.
So, here we go...
Inspired by the Fibonacci series, a beautiful peacock we met on holiday, CANDY and thrifty scrapping!

I have popped the layout on first, if you want a quick visit.

I have popped the Fibonacci measurements on next, if you want a medium visit.

I have finished with lots of pictures of possible combinations to make as many layouts as possible from three basic sheets of paper for those who would like a longer browse.

CANDY NUMBER ONE...
Leave a comment on this post and follow my blog for a chance to win this paper pack HERE with a few little embellies thrown in.

CANDY NUMBER TWO...
If you visit our Home Page then click the Facebook link, 'like' Wear Crafts on Facebook and leave a comment on the Facebook Candy post, you will also be entered into our Facebook Candy draw! It helps in the draw if your 'likes' are public and visible to everyone.

Hold onto your hats... this is picture heavy!
Hand drawn fibonacci spirals.
Authentique 'Diction'
Woodware 'Spot' Alphabet
Jenni Bowlin Receipt stamp
Products used are all on this page HERE.

So here is the fibonacci spiral which inspired me (along with the peacock as these magical numbers can be seen in nature everywhere!).
And here are the measurements I used...
  • 15.3mm x 15.3mm
  • 9.4mm x 9.4mm
  • 5.8mm x 5.8mm
  • 3.6mm x 3.6mm
  • 2.2mm x 2.2mm
  • 1.4mm x 2.2mm
This is the way I cut the three pieces of paper... although I only used two on the layout, with a piece of card.

Some possible combinations...

Turning it around...
Jiggling things about....

Using the leftover bits...

If you made it this far... well done! Don't forget to leave a comment and follow this blog AND like us on Facebook and leave a comment on the Candy post. Two chances to get your hands on some lovely goodies... can't be bad!  Happy hopping, jenx
