Rocking Your World Friday

What Rocked My World this week... more short holly berries! We went away to the gorgeous Ripon (again) for a four nighter and had such good fun.
I know you have seen that one but it just makes me laugh.

And much as I would like to say that I am the cool glamourous female doing thumbs up with long locks flowing, I am actually the fat, forty two year old, purple faced idiot screaming because she thinks she is about to die!!!
Oh I was set up... DH said 'The Ultimate is nothing, you will be fine.'... DS1 said 'It just shakes you about a bit'.... DS2 said 'Go on mam!'
Just shakes you about a bit... don't believe that on! It was a bit fast and ahem exhilerating shall we say. But we did have a great day.
Other rocks... Ripon Cathedral and the lovely man who told us what to look out for... Fountains Abbey and Studley Royal are just gorgeous... Latte and Ice Cream in the National Trust Cafe... Eating take out all week and not having to wash up or cook (we are all spotty now lol)... all four of us snuggling up and watching a dvd... fresh air, walking and walking in the fresh air... bacon butties in even more fresh air... just fresh air!!!!.... peace and quiet and the funniest weather rock I have seen in a while... read it carefully and enjoy...
This is the River Laver Weather Rock.

Look at the stone to see the weather forecast.

Is this not an amazing tree?

More Yu Gi Oh cards - why don't I understand Yu Gi Oh cards?

And Matthew... on a little train... with Sam... trying to be!
We had a great first crop. And Doctor Who is back... what more could you ask for. Hope your week rocked too. jenx

  1. Super photos and what sounds like a fab week.

Hope the weekend is good for you and that you have a great week ahead.

    Toni xx

  2. I did enjoy Dr Who :D

Looks a fab and really FUN week, love the theme park photos - that woman just isn't right sitting so calmly!

Hope you have an amazing week :)

  3. Oh I love that photo of you (the one with the uber cool chick doing the thumbs up!).

The weather wall sign is funny - my kind of logic too! Looks like you all had a brilliant time away - and get to return to the brand new and fantastic Doctor Who (which was so sad!!!).

    Have a great week!

  4. OH Jen you look like you've had a fabulous time loads of happy family memories to preserve in scrapbooks now! You are exceptionally brave to go on 'those' rides - I just can't do it!

Hope you have a fabulous weekend and week ahead!

  5. Lovely photos and that tree is amazing. Great photos of the rides too!
Hope you have a great week x

  6. How do people look good on those rides? I would definitely have the ghostly white complexion and the look of terror. Looks like you and the fam had an incredible time!
