  1. Oooh I know what this is, Jen! I've been saving this while I've been doing my mega clear out in my ARTHaven! It's the insides of envelopes! Aren't they gorgeous papers? Far too nice to throw out, and when you use them for something like this, if you didn't know what they were, you'd never suspect!! I got the idea from Jennibellie (check her out on Youtube and she's also got a blog) - the undoubted Queen of Recycling lol! She is such fun, and amazingly, mind-blowingly creative!

Love this card! It's ages since I did any iris folding, and it's so brilliant I love curves created from straight lines.

Thanks for sharing. I love this!!

  2. that was my guess, too! the inside of business envelopes. how very clever. :-)

  3. Oh well I am glad I did not go first because I got it completely wrong and thought it was paper towelling!! Like your card very much and the iris folding is stunning. Well done for recycling! A x

  4. Beautiful, I was going to guess pressed fabric. Lisa

  5. Well, isn't Shoshi the smart one, I never would have guessed the inside of envelopes! Very pretty! waving hi from the sandy beaches of Florida ;0

  6. I was going to suggest mens shirts!
    Looks great!

  7. Oh what a fabulous bauble.

  8. Thanks for the lovely comments! You are right - the insides of envelopes!!! but what a great idea to use fabric and paper towels - ooh and what about those blue and white cloths that we use in the kitchen? they all have different patterns. off to hunt through cupboards right now.... jenx

  9. Love this card Jen and great to have one less Christmas card to do come the busy period. Love your gorgeous bracelet too. Well done you for doing something for yourself!
