Less Is More Challenge

I don't know if this would really qualify but I am going to have a go!
Now I have popped it in the blog post it doesn't really look less is more at all but I did keep it simple and there is sewing on there. I sewed in lines and cut punched circles in half. The photos are just stuck straight on and I used two tags. No, I don't think it is very less is more at all but I had a go! jenx

Oh I have just looked at it again and it is not clean and simple at all, is it? Well it is simple in terms of the number of techniques I used, I suppose. jenx

  4. Whenever I craft (which is rare these days) I follow the "less is more" idea so that I hardly add anything !!! Do what feels right - it is individual to you !
I keep thinking about our blog conversation ! Would love to tell you more but it's not for the blog !!!

  7. I think that if you visit our challenge on a regular basis and visit lots of the other participants, you'll get lots of tips and inspiration for Clean and Simple cards and layouts.
It is quite a challenge at first, but can be SO effective.
You are right, your creation is not really in the genre, but do join us again and you'll probably come to love the style as much as we do.
    Thanks so much

  9. Thanks for the lovely comments! I have spent time looking at the cards for the challenge and now I think I get it and will be more successful next time! I kind of thought less is more meant no ready made expensive embellishments, stick to one fairly simple technique kind of thing - and didnt get the whole white space thing! but now i do i will try again next time!!! jenx
